Sidney Hanstein is the Managing Partner and Founder of Outsourcing Solutions, a Namibian human resources and business services company established in 2002. He began his career with M-Net (MultiChoice) in 1989, where he progressed from customer service to becoming the company’s first Human Resources Manager. He later founded Practical Outsourcing Solutions following his proposal to outsource MultiChoice Namibia’s HR and payroll functions.

With over three decades of professional experience, Sidney has built extensive expertise in human resources, business development, organisational management, and labour relations. He has served on the Team Namibia Board since 2019 and currently serves as its chairperson, contributing to initiatives that promote local business, industry development, and collaboration across sectors.

In addition to his role at Team Namibia, Sidney currently serves as a Commissioner of the Social Security Commission. He has also contributed to national policy and standards initiatives, including Namibia’s National Quality Policy Technical Committee and National Standardisation Strategy Task Force, and has served as a Master Trainer for the International Labour Organization’s Convention C190
